Listening on the Road

While I only live about 25 miles from work, I have a difficult commute that can take anywhere between a half hour and two hours each way. I will not bore you with the details, but I live near the “happiest place on Earth” but when you have to commute through it, well it can be a bit challenging. In a few months, I will eliminate this commute with a move closer to work. Amen to that.

My escape on the commute has always focused on listening to music, an audio book, or a podcast. I am in the mood to chill and sing along, or be inspired by a book for learning or escape? But my regular listening habits are focused on a regular list of weekly podcasts and I thought this Saturday, I will share some of my favorites on how others faced their own roads of life.

“Bring others with You” with the late Leah Chase from Road Map by
Road Trip Nation

“Living Wildly in Patagonia with Conservationist” Kris Tompkins from the Women who Travel Podcast

Women who Walk Daily Podcasts

Wiser than Me Podcast

Just a few to inspire you, as we are what we listen to on the road. And even during my tough commute, I can walk into the office having been inspired by the stories of women for the half hour, hour or two hours it could take me in traffic to get to or from work.
