The Window

It is amazing what God’s artistic touch does to one place as the season and the years fly by. Over the year’s I have owned and lived in my Rhode Island home, I regularly took pictures out of this window. The pictures still bring me joy.

John Burroughs once said, “In October, a maple tree before your window lights up your room like a great lamp. Even on cloudy days, its presence helps to dispel the gloom.”

“I look out of this window and I think this is a cosmos, this is a huge creation, this is one small corner of it. The trees and birds and everything else and I’m part of it. I didn’t ask to be put here, I’ve been lucky in finding myself here.” Morris West

“The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love and of generosity and of goodness. It illuminates the picture window of the soul, and we look out upon the world’s busy life and become more interested in people than in things.” Thomas Monson

  1. Magnificent sights captured through your window. Your words are peaceful, and compliment the serenity of your photos.
