“For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord “plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future”.
Jeremiah 29:11
“I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I hope. More than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen waiting for the morning.”
Psalm 130:5-6
Staying alert and preparing for the arrival of Jesus.
Opening myself to God’s presence and the needs of others.
Engaging in prayer, reading the scripture, meditating, and charitable giving.
Acknowledging, particularly during these troubling times, the world’s darkness and the brokenness it brings to many, yet not losing sight of the hope and trust we have in the light of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will overcome the darkness.
Focusing on Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love.
Looking forward to celebrating Christ’s birth while, at the same time, longing for His return.
