Marble Women's Ministry Lent Blog 2026

Bloom even in the Darkness

Today is the last day of the Lenten Blog for 2025. I hope that you found our journey, taking a deep dive into being a Faithful Witness, a transformative experience. Walking alongside Jesus’ journey to Jerusalem allowed us to reflect on our own lives and be His witnesses. We shared stories of deep commitment to faith and asked you to look for the beauty that God lays before us each day.

The world can feel like a dark place. The minister, Barbara Brown Taylor, said in her book, Learning to Walk in the Dark:

“I have learned things in the dark that I could never have learned in the light, things that have saved my life over and over again, so that there is really only one logical conclusion. I need darkness as much as I need light.”

Find opportunities to discover the people, places, and activities that bring you closer to the light each day. Amen.

Thank you to all of the contributors to the blog, you are always amazing!

Thank you Marcie for guiding as through this Lenten season. As I heard often throughout Holy Week, may we go forward with the good news of a risen Christ. And may we do that through word and action in love.
