Never Ever.
Nevermore.
Nunca Más means all of those things. For Argentina, it is the title of the Report of the Argentine National Commission of the Disappeared. The report provided an opportunity for transitional justice. To record the stories of those who disappeared, the survivors, and the families who lost loved ones, and to those who became the involuntary witnesses of the violence.
The Argentine people continue to look for justice.
It was the 49th Anniversary Day of Remembrance for Truth and Justice, and the country marched for collective grief in a country with much to grieve. We met at the central church and walked over to join the march behind the Abuelas. Here is a short video of what I saw that day.
