Catherine’s Art

When does creating art begin?
How does a child depict meaningful sights? Catherine our granddaughter drew these visuals one Christmas.
Every year since this has been a favorite holiday presence!

  1. As my eyes floated from one symbol to the next, I smiled and enjoyed the simplicity of each design, the vibrant colors chosen and the young artist’s precision of keeping them all within the lines.

One symbol actually startled me a bit and then washed over my soul.

    It was the cross.

Amidst all the cheerfulness, the place of the cruelest form of execution.

And yet there, the greatest demonstration of love ever known.

And the very reason we have Christmas!

“For God SO loved ♥️ the world, that He gave His ONE and ONLY Son ✝️ that *whoever* 👧👦🏻🧑🏾👨🏻👵🏻👩🏽 believes in Him 🛐 shall not perish 🔥 but have everlasting life 🌟 ! For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved 🛟 through Him ✝️☝🏼” ~John 3:16-17

“Let every heart prepare Him room” and have a truly Merry Jesus-filled Christmas…everyday.
