The Cathedral in My Mind

edifice has stained glass
permitting light’s entry
joy, broad and deep
hymns resonate
upon hearing the strains
I am lifted                                                                                                                                                                 
What composes my Cathedral?
light, music
true inspirations to find solace
place I can pray
for others in my fold
sacred sanctuary
moments of peace with God
finding hope and grace
for the living of my days
