Hope has a Name

Is it Wishful Thinking?
No it is not.

Is it Maybe?
No. It is Yes and Amen.

Is it vague, distant, a vapory mirage?
No. Hope is more solid than the bedrock of this earth

It’s the One Anchor that holds
When that dream is lifeless, gone
Hope is Here And Now
And it is Yet To Come

Hope doesn’t play tricks
Doesn’t toy with our hearts
Doesn’t tease with a promise
Then laugh and fall apart

No. Hope is 10,000 Promises made
And every one fulfilled!

Hope is The Light that breaks through
And vanquishes the darkness
It is steady, constant, changeless
It is always pulsing towards us

Hope is a Baby wrapped in all earth’s longings
Very God Come To Live With Us
Hope’s every footstep Calvary-leading
It is Savior crying out from cross

Hope is Death-Demolishing-Stone-Rolled-Away
Our wrath-deserving debt fully paid!
Hope is Victorious King coming back to reign
Over all who hope in True Hope’s Name!

Yes, Hope has a Name
His Name is Jesus

                               ~ Karen DiProspero

“She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” ~ Matthew 1:21

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 15:13
