The Presence of Peace Hope

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.
The Lord be with all of you. – 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NIV)

On this second Sunday in Advent, we light the Peace or Bethlehem Candle, reminding us of Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem. May we pray this Sunday for all of the people in this world that are displaced by conflict, suffering in poverty, and living with hunger.
