  • Friendship While in the Wilderness

Happy Easter! “Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up. So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all”. (Gal 6:9-10) Lent means embracing changes in our lives and our communities. With God’s help, change (mostly […]

  • I Will Wait for you in the in Between

Today is the day to pause in the stillness between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

  • Good Friday…

While there are many hymns and spirituals that tell the story of Good Friday, none are more grounded and moving than “Were you There?” A spiritual that was likely written by an enslaved African-American.

  • The Friends of Jesus

As we enter Holy Week, I am reflecting on the friends that were around Jesus as he made the final walk to Jerusalem.  In that motley crew of disciples we don’t often hear the names of the women who surrounded Jesus.  We know his mother was there, and Mary Magdalene.  We hear of other women like Susanna.  Yet the focus is often on the male disciples with Jesus.

  • Trail Stairway to Heaven

  • Holy Week Events

We invite you to join us next week, as we travel with Jesus toward the cross and resurrection. The journey to Easter is about how unexpected endings and unexpected beginnings open us to the possibilities God gives each of us.

You can sign-up for the free event at the following link: https://marblechurch.org/calendar/8207/walking-in-jesus-footsteps-virtual-via-dolorosa-walk

  • WALKING BY FAITH, NOT FEAR

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9 (NIV) “Mira que te mando que te esfuerces y seas valiente; no temas ni desmayes, porque Jehová tu Dios estará contigo en dondequiera […]
