We are just a few short days away from the start of Lent. We are looking for more blog posts this year, so we wanted to share this year’s theme for the Lent Blog if you want to share:
Stories of Kindness to Build a Better World
Jesus asks us to be the light of Christ in this world, so instead of giving something up for Lent this year, our blog will be filled with stories about how we can help make this world a better place for all.
This year’s Lenten Blog theme is based on the book by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Just Help! How to Build a Better World. “In a story inspired by her own family’s desire to help others, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor takes young readers on a journey through a neighborhood where kids and adults, activists and bus drivers, friends and strangers all help one another to build a better world for themselves and their community.”

We are looking for short posts or art, poetry, stories, pictures, video, spoken word from people of all ages. I have attached a sheet to give you some ideas and how you can submit to our blog.
Even if you do not have anything to share, I hope that you like and follow our blog this year and spread the light of kindness in your town or neighborhood.
