Week #2: Forest Bathing

As soon as I step into the FOREST, the green jumps into my eyes.
And the scent of the trees and the soil.
I can feel the life
and energy
exuding from the
WOODS.

I am hoping today that you find an opportunity to get out into nature. Nature is healing for the mind, body, and soul. Whether you take a solo walk around your neighborhood or head out on a hike, research tells us how important this regular practice is. In the past few years, I discovered the practice of Forest Bathing. Here are a few resources to learn about this practice:

I love to be outdoors and try to spend at least 30 minutes outside every day (sometimes winter weather makes it too challenging). I had not heard of forest bathing, though, so thank you for this. I am enjoying walking with Jesus this Lent, so thank you for that, too.
This is wonderful. I think about all the time in the past I’ve spent in the wild…biking…walking…etc. this is an inspiration to at least dust off my bike and ride the rail trail or at least start walking.
I love forest bathing! Thank you for the reminder to spend more time doing it!
I love this. Can’t wait to try forest bathing
