Hello Friends,
You are not mistaken, this is a blog post introducing our 2022 Lenten blog and inviting you to submit a post to our blog. The season of Lent starts on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, so we are hoping to receive potential posts by February 20.
This Lent, the Marble Women’s Ministry invites you on a 40-day journey of shared stories, poems, prayers, art, music, and activities exploring different kinds of friendships by “Walking the Path of Lent with Friends.”
Our scripture for the Lenten blog, 1 John 4:11, reminds us of our friendship with God, “Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” The blog will be an opportunity to strengthen our friendship with God, Jesus, and each other along the way. We may even redefine what friendship means as we move forward from the pandemic to a time where we reconnect with old friends and even make some new friends.
