In a sacred place
sun shines through windows of stained glass
reflection causes inspiration
This church built centuries ago
bombs of war
rebuilt, standing solid now
pews where others lifted prayers
to Our Heavenly Father
heads bowed with hope
Moments of reflection
rekindle fires
in our being
Lent can do this
if we pause,
be still… pray.
