Sometimes you just need an angel
To stay by your side through the day,
Sometimes you just need an angel
To help you, and show you the way
An angel to shield you and watch you
To lend you endurance and grace
To stand by your side and to guide you
When life seems a worrying place.
But courage! for angels are with us,
Just waiting to love us and care.
Just trust, and you’ll find when you need one,
An angel will always be there.
